Project Teams at Mesa Harmony Garden

In addition to our Saturday morning work-parties, regular volunteers choose to get more involved with a specific aspect of the garden's care and maintenance. Project teams are self-organizing groups who take collective responsibility for one of the requirements listed below. The Irrigation team for example, maintains our deep-drip irrigation system and ensure that the trees receive adequate watering taking into account their size and age, the season and recent precipitation.

Please add me to the email list for the following project team(s):

Landscaping: working to improve the aesthetic appeal of the garden; maintaining a diverse and multi-functional planting of perennial shrubs, vines and ground-covers; weeding. Composting: creating and maintaining suitable processes to compost garden by-products. Irrigation: meeting the watering needs of the trees and other plants in the most sustainable way possible. Tree-care: monitoring and maintaining tree-health, pruning and harvesting.
